Developing targeted immunotherapy to improve outcomes in leukemia and lymphoma while reducing long term side effects.

Dr. Hochberg joined the faculty of New York Medical College in 2009, and is presently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics within the division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation. She specializes in hematologic malignancies, tumor lysis syndrome and late effects of cancer therapy. She is currently the Director of the Hematologic Malignancy Program, Director of the Wellness and Survivorship program and Associate Director of the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship. She currently serves as the Institutional PI for the Children’s Oncology Group. Dr. Hochberg’s research interests involve development of novel therapeutics and targeted immunotherapy in order to improved outcomes and reduce the burden of traditional chemoradiotherapy in pediatric leukemia and lymphoma.
