Program Overview

The Children’s Cancer Fund New York Scholarship is a one-time educational award designed to support current or former patients treated for childhood cancer or blood diseases — or their siblings — as they pursue post-secondary education or vocational training in the United States

*Application deadline June 15th, 2026.

Award Amount

$5000.00

  • Paid directly to the educational or vocational institution. One-time, non-renewable award

Eligibility Requirements

  • At least 17 years of age
  • Legal U.S. resident
  • Enrolled in or accepted to an accredited post-secondary or vocational program
  • Current or former patients treated for childhood cancer or blood diseases, or sibling
  • Medical confirmation required

Applications are reviewed by a neutral selection committee using a standardized rubric. All reviewers disclose potential conflicts of interest and recuse themselves when necessary.
